Vintage Japanese quilt made from patterned indigo textile remnants hand pieced together. The reverse features boro patchwork made from indigo dyed cottons of various shades. Boro is a Japanese form of textile preservation born out of necessity in which a fabric is patched over many years to extend its life. No batting between layers.
